An amazing knife for carving tasks, and at a great price. I make an adjustable neck rope with paracord and carry it around my neck.
I originally bought this as a back up knife, but it quickly became my go to woods knife. Sure, it isn't full tang so you can't beat up on it but you don't need to baton wood to process it, and with the money you save buying this knife you can afford a good axe. This knife feels very comfortable in the hand and can handle all the carving work you throw at it. I haven't processed any game with it, but after using it to cut 1/8 inch thick leather I have no doubt of its capabilities to cut most anything. The only down side is that the spine isn't sharp enough to throw sparks, but after I spent about 3 minutes with a file on it it's throwing showers of sparks that are nothing short of impressive.
I have another smaller mora that I got from here and I love it. Good all around camp knife. Can't beat the quality and the price.
The Mora #2 shows that you don't need to spend large amounts of money to find a knife that can do work. I previously owned the Mora Companion and was satisfied, but the Mora #2 was above and beyond what I was looking for in my outdoor knife.
This knife is actually bigger than i thought. i bought this for my brother but i am really tempted to keep it for myself. lol the hamdle feels solid in the hand. Of course the blade came razor sharp. The sheath is actually better than i thought although it is plastic. iI will definitely be buying one for myself
